Ontario man scores second lottery jackpot in two weeks

June 27 (UPI) — An Ontario man who won a $104,516.35 lottery prize said his shock was compounded by the fact that he won $75,305 just two weeks earlier.

Aloysius Power, 57, told the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. he bought the Poker Lotto All In ticket on a whim June 21 and he ended up winning $104,516.35.

“When I saw the words ‘Big Winner’ on the screen, I couldn’t believe it,” Power said. “I really couldn’t believe my luck — I just won [$75,305.17] with Instant Bingo Doubler two weeks ago.”

The lucky winner said he plans to use his winnings to take a Caribbean vacation and save for his retirement.
