LOS ANGELES, April 15 (UPI) — Pink released her single for Disney’s Alice Through the Looking Glass on Thursday.

The 36-year-old singer wrote and recorded “Just Like Fire” specifically for the Alice in Wonderland sequel, which opens in theaters in May. A music video for the song will follow the same month.

“Just Like Fire” marks Pink’s first new single in over three years and her first contribution to a live-action movie. The singer also recorded a cover of the Jefferson Airplane song “White Rabbit” for an Alice Through the Looking Glass trailer.

Pink released her sixth studio album, The Truth About Love, in 2012, which includes the singles “Try” and “Walk of Shame.” She released rose ave. as the music duo You+Me in 2014, and recorded a new theme song for The Ellen DeGeneres Show last year.

“I’m doing stuff, but I don’t know what it is,” the singer and mom-of-one said of her seventh album to MTV in May. “I’m writing songs, riding horses, making bake sale cookies. I’m kind of all over the place.”

Alice Through the Looking Glass is based on the Lewis Carroll novel Through the Looking Glass and opens May 27. The movie is directed by James Bobin (The Muppets), with Tim Burton (Alice in Wonderland) as producer.

Mia Wasikowska will return as Alice, with Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen and Anne Hathaway as the White Queen. Sacha Baron Cohen stars as the film’s new villain, Time.
