Sept. 26 (UPI) — Steve Aoki will indeed collaborate with K-pop group BTS.

The 39-year-old American DJ shared photos with the South Korean boy band Monday after teasing a project with BTS in May.

“Producer meeting in Korea working with the @BTS_twt production squad already celebrating our future collab together w/ @officialbelaire!!” he tweeted.

Aoki had sent fans into a frenzy May 23 by posting pictures of himself with BTS. He appeared to hint at a collaboration at the time.

“Game plan [coming soon] @BTS_twt,” the DJ wrote.

News of the project follows the release of BTS’ new EP, Love Yourself ‘Her.’ The album has been setting records, including becoming the highest-charting album from a K-pop group on the Billboard 200.

In addition, Love Yourself ‘Her’ ranked No. 1 on 73 iTunes charts in the wake of its debut. BTS also became the first South Korean act to appear on Spotify’s Global Top 50 with their new song “DNA.”

Aoki and BTS have yet to announce details about their collaboration. The K-pop group will also release a collaboration with American duo The Chainsmokers, and met with British singer Charli XCX at the Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival in August.
