Sept. 24 (UPI) — Paramount+ is developing a Teen Wolf movie sequel and the new series Wolf Pack.

Jeff Davis, who created and executive produced the MTV series Teen Wolf, will join the projects at Paramount+ as part of a new deal with MTV Entertainment Studios, Deadline reported.

Davis will write and executive produce the Teen Wolf movie, with talks underway with the original cast. He will also serve as showrunner on the Wolf Pack series and a live-action reboot of Aeon Flux.

In addition, the entire 100-episode Teen Wolf library will be available to stream on Paramount+ beginning in December.

The Teen Wolf official Twitter account confirmed the news Friday on the fourth anniversary of the series finale.

“We’ve heard your howls, and we’re howling back! A #TeenWolf MOVIE is coming to @ParamountPlus in 2022,” the post reads.

Teen Wolf is a reboot of the 1985 film of the same name. The series starred Tyler Posey, Dylan O’Brien, Tyler Hoechlin, Colton Haynes, Holland Roden and Shelley Hennig, and aired for six seasons on MTV from 2011 to 2017.

The sequel movie will follow werewolf Scott McCall as he gathers both new allies and trusted friends to fight back against what would be the most powerful and deadly enemy they’ve ever faced in Beacon Hills.

Wolf Pack is based on the Edo Van Belkom book series of the same name. The show follows a group of teenagers whose lives are changed forever after a California wildfire awakens a werewolf.
