May 8 (UPI) — Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott spent their 12th anniversary on a tropical getaway to Hawaii.
The 44-year-old actress and 51-year-old actor dedicated sweet posts to each other on their wedding anniversary Monday.
Spelling shared a throwback photo on Instagram from her 2006 wedding to McDermott in Fiji. She said in the caption she finally felt like a princess in a fairy tale on her wedding day.
“Today I celebrate the love and passion I share with @imdeanmcdermott and the 5 blessings that we’ve created together,” the star wrote, referencing her five children with McDermott.
“Some people search their entire lives to find a soulmate. I’m one lucky woman because I have 6!” she added. “I love you babe.”
McDermott posted the same picture and a loving message on his own account.
“12 years ago today I married this beautiful young lady. So blessed and grateful for her undying love. #imaluckyman #love #loveconquersall #forever,” he wrote.
Spelling had shared a photo with McDermott after arriving in Hawaii Saturday. She said she was grateful for the getaway but missed her kids, 11-year-old Liam, 9-year-old Stella, 6-year-old Hattie, 5-year-old Finn and 14-month-old Beau.
“As a mom of 5 I don’t know life without my kiddos. But, sometimes it’s important to take time and remember the whole reason those 5 little blessings are in our lives… and that is a mad love that started with my soulmate @imdeanmcdermott,” the actress wrote.
“This #mamabear was anxious leaving the kiddos but enjoying reconnecting with my love. So important!” she said.
Spelling and McDermott’s vacation follows reports police were called to the couple’s home in March for a domestic disturbance. Sources told People at the time Spelling has had “a really tough year,” saying, “She has a ton of pressure and stress, with the kids, work and her marriage.”
