May 10 (UPI) — President Donald Trump said Thursday his meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will take place in June.
“The highly anticipated meeting between Kim Jong Un and myself will take place in Singapore on June 12th,” Trump announced on Twitter. “We will both try to make it a very special moment for World Peace!”
The announcement comes after three Americans detained in North Korea arrived at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland on Thursday morning, where they were greeted by Trump and first lady Melania.
