Washington (AFP) – US President Donald Trump renewed his criticism of NATO on Friday, saying the transatlantic defense alliance was more useful for Europe than for the United States.
“NATO is wonderful, but it helps Europe more than it helps us,” Trump said as he called on his White House guest, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and others to pay more.
