Washington (AFP) – US President Donald Trump’s harsh words for Canada’s prime minister after the Group of Seven summit aimed to avoid a show of “weakness” ahead of North Korea nuclear talks, a top advisor said Sunday.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un “must not see American weakness” before his meeting Tuesday in Singapore with Trump, economic advisor Larry Kudlow said.
