Beirut (AFP) – Two civilians were killed Friday in air strikes on the last rebel-held town in Syria’s battered Eastern Ghouta, a monitor said, the first bombardment there in more than a week.
“Twelve air strikes hit multiple areas in Douma, killing two civilians and wounding 25 people,” said Rami Abdel Rahman, head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
