Occupied Jerusalem, Oct. 1 (Petra) — A group of extremist Jewish settlers on Wednesday stormed the yards of Al-Aqsa Mosque via the Al-Magharbah Gate under the protection of Israeli police.
Palestinian sources said the settlers roamed the yards of the mosque in a provocative manner and attempted to perform their Talmudic rituals and climb the Dome of the Rock.
Muslim prayers inside the mosque prevented the extremists from reaching the Dome of the Rock to perform their Talmudic rites, the sources added.
