King departs for Moscow on working visit


Amman, Oct. 1 (Petra) — His Majesty King Abdullah II left Amman, heading for Moscow on a working visit during which he will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and other senior Russian officials for talks on the latest regional and international developments.




The visit comes as part of the continued consultations and coordination with the world’s decision- making capitals on various developments in the Middle East, including countering terrorist organizations and movements, efforts to achieve peace between the Palestinians and Israelis in line with the two-state solution, the Syrian crisis and the latest developments in Iraq.




His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein was sworn in as regent in the presence of Cabinet members.
