SANA’A, Oct. 02 (Saba) – President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi received here on Thursday German Ambassador to Yemen, Walter Hassmann.
During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and the means of boosting them, as well as the latest developments on the ground and the progress of implementing the peace and national partnership agreement based on the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference (NDC).
Hadi praised the support of Germany to Yemen at various fields, expressing his hope for continued support by Germany along with the international community to face challenges and implement the requirements of the transitional phase.
For his part, Hassmann reaffirmed his country’s full support to President Hadi and his measures to handle the current crisis in order to avert Yemen from dragging into civil war.
