LOS ANGELES, Oct. 2 (UPI) —
Charlie Sheen allegedly pulled a knife on his dentist last week.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ the 49-year-old actor was being treated for an abscess when he started to flail as a nurse administered nitrous oxide. He reportedly struck the technician as he thrashed, and Sheen’s security guard and dentist entered the room. The nurse told police the actor pulled a knife on the dentist, and also said he was high on rock cocaine.
The LAPD is investigating the incident, but Sheen’s publicist and lawyer have both asserted the report is untrue. Publicist Jeff Ballard told Page Six there was no rock cocaine nor any "illegal substances involved at all," and denied the actor had a knife. Lawyer Marty Singer called the rock cocaine claim "completely fabricated," and said the star merely had "a bad reaction to the noxious gas put to his mouth and nose."
Sheen currently stars on FX series Anger Management, and will potentially return for the season 12 finale of CBS comedy Two and Half Men.
