Jeb Bush is George W. Bush's top presidential pick for 2016

DALLAS, Oct. 2 (UPI) —

The 2016 U.S. presidential election may be over two years away, but former President George W. Bush already knows who he wants in the Oval Office: his brother Jeb.

"[Jeb] and I had a conversation," the elder Bush brother told Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade on Thursday.

"I of course was pushing for him to run for president, he of course was saying, ‘I haven’t made up my mind.’ I truly don’t think he has, and plus I don’t think he liked it that his older brother was pushing him."

Although Jeb wouldn’t admit it to big brother W, the former president thinks his younger sibling actively wants to be Commander-in-Chief.

"I think he wants to be president. I think [Jeb would] be a great president. He understands what it’s like to be president. He understands what it’s like to be president for not only the person running or serving, plus family. He’s seen his dad, he’s seen his brother. And so, he’s a very thoughtful man, and he’s weighing his options."
