NEW YORK, April 15 (UPI) — Victoria Beckham is teaming with Estée Lauder on a new, limited-edition makeup collection.
The 41-year-old English designer announced the news Friday on Twitter, writing, “Excited to announce my limited edition makeup collection for @esteelauder! Autumn Winter 2016 x vb #VBxEstéeLauder.”
“I am thrilled to be launching this limited-edition makeup collection with Estée Lauder,” Beckham added in a statement. “The whole process has been both inspiring and eye-opening … this feels like the perfect makeup partnership for me and my brand.”
“I had long admired Estée Lauder the woman, and the powerful brand that she created, so I am excited to offer both of our customers this makeup range and play a small part in her vision for women,” she said of the cosmetic company’s late founder.
The Estée Lauder collection marks Beckham’s first full-scale foray into the makeup industry. The designer previously collaborated with Nails Inc. on two nail polishes through her Victoria Beckham fashion line.
“We are excited to join forces and bring Victoria’s take on beauty to her many fans around the world,” Estée Lauder Companies group president Jane Hertzmark Hudis said.
“Victoria is an entrepreneur in the true spirit of our founder, Estée Lauder, with a real understanding of what women want, and a commitment to making look and feel their most beautiful,” she lauded. “Victoria has a passion for beauty and we are delighted to welcome her into our brand.”
Victoria Beckham Estée Lauder will launch in September. The designer also continues to oversee her various fashion lines, and is rumored for a potential Spice Girls reunion celebrating the 20th anniversary of their album Spice.
