June 10 (UPI) — Microsoft will reveal its latest video game line-up during its Xbox E3 press conference on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles, Calif.
The briefing will take place at the Microsoft Theatre at LA Live begining at 4 p.m. EDT and will be streamed live online on Microsoft’s Mixer video streaming platform.
During the event, Microsoft will announce new software for its Xbox One and Xbox One X video game consoles.
The press conference precedes the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
The convention runs from Tuesday through Thursday and features video game industry’s leading hardware and software developers showcasing their upcoming products for members of the press and the public.
In March, Microsoft announced it won’t have a dedicated Xbox booth at E3, instead showcasing its games at the nearby theater at LA Live.
“Not only does the Microsoft Theater allow us to centralize our Xbox presence at E3, but it’s size enables us to include even more fans and partners in the Xbox E3 2018 Briefing than ever before,” Microsoft said.
The company added it will still maintain a “meaningful presence” at the Los Angeles Convention Center show floor, with a new booth completely dedicated to Mixer, where you can play, stream and interact with games and catch the latest E3 news live throughout the entire week.”
In 2017, Microsoft revealed its Xbox One X console, which it hailed as “the most powerful console ever made.”
