June 12 (UPI) — U.S. President Donald Trump brought a four-minute video to the Singapore summit, showing North Korean leader Kim Jong Un a vision of his nation’s future without nuclear weapons.

Trump showed Kim the video, styled as a movie trailer, on an iPad. It was also shown to journalists in both Korean and English.

“Destiny Pictures presents a story of opportunity, a new story, a new beginning, one of peace, two men, two leaders, one destiny,” the narrator says. “A story about a special moment in time when a man is presented with one chance that may never be repeated … What will he choose? To show vision and leadership? Or not?”

The video shows a bright future of modern technology, skyscrapers and other signs of prosperity, compared with black-and-white imagery of “moving back,” showing explosions and empty store shelves.

Trump described Kim’s reaction to it at his press conference after the summit: “I think he loved it.”
