May 10 (UPI) — A pair of fast food chains may have made a love connection after a Burger King in Boston changed its sign to ask Wendy’s to prom.
Workers at the Burger King changed the eatery’s sign to a simple promposal: “@Wendys, Prom?”
The hamburger restaurant posted a photo of the sign to Twitter, where it elicited a response from Wendy’s.
“OK, but don’t get handsy and we have to be home by 10,” Wendy’s tweeted.
The exchange garnered numerous replies from amused Twitter users, and one expression of regret by the official account of Moon Pie snacks.
