Zoey Deutch says kissing James Franco was ‘meh’

June 21 (UPI) — Zoey Deutch says kissing James Franco was a “meh” experience.

The 23-year-old actress said on Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live that Franco’s breath was “not good” during their kissing scenes in the 2016 movie Why Him?

Deutch described Franco’s kissing style as “meh” before saying the encounter was “not great.” She also said the 40-year-old actor’s breath was “meh” before changing her answer.

“Actually, not good,” the star told host Andy Cohen.

Deutch and Franco played Stephanie and Laird in Why Him? The actress spoke out in an interview with the New York Post in February after Franco was accused of sexual misconduct.

“I am so proud and in awe of the people who have come forward about [James Franco],” she said. “I know how hard it is, and the pros and cons and the [expletive] that goes into making a decision like that.”

Franco had denied the allegations during an episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in January, saying, “The things that I heard on Twitter are not accurate, but I completely support people coming out and being able to have a voice.”
