Breitbart Alive, at #War in 'Occupy Unmasked'

Breitbart Alive, at #War in 'Occupy Unmasked'

Have you seen the brand new trailer for Occupy Unmasked?

The Citizens United film by Stephen K. Bannon opens at theaters in Denver, Dallas, Phoenix, and Los Angeles this Friday, but the original trailer for the film has been online for months and building momentum for an eager audience. When I saw that there was a completely recut trailer, I wondered why they’d decided to recreate an already effective trailer.

Then I watched the trailer and it all made sense.

The new trailer puts a much greater emphasis on the star and force behind the film: Andrew Breitbart.

If you are a Breitbart fan, if you were influenced by Andrew Breitbart, whether Breitbart profoundly changed your life or whether you were one of the millions of people who were occasionally amused and amazed by Andrew’s media appearances — you must see Occupy Unmasked to fully appreciate how much we lost on March 1st, 2012.

The new trailer gives you a hint of what you’ll see in the film. Andrew Breitbart commands the screen, spitting out the facts about the Occupy movement and its connection to the institutional left. The preview audiences at places like the Republican and Democratic National Conventions all have said that the film made them truly grasp what the Occupy movement is all about and why it’s a force to be reckoned with.

In the film as in real life, Breitbart is passionate, knowledgeable, and entertaining every step of the way. He’s the tour guide, leading you from the first day of the Occupy Wall Street protest a year ago through the chaos, violence and destruction that follows. It’s disturbing stuff, but Breitbart and the other stars of the film find the dark humor throughout. With Steve Bannon’s steady hand at the helm, this expose of the left is like the boat ride into madness from Apocalypse Now

For those of us who knew Andrew personally, it’s bittersweet to see him alive again and throughly in his element. For the many fans out there who never got a chance to meet Andrew in person, this is your chance to spend some time with him, his colleagues, and his idea of in-your-face citizen journalism that tells the truth that the liberal media simply will not.
