Poll: Romney, Obama Deadlocked in Wisconsin

President Obama’s lead in Wisconsin is within the margin of error, according to a brand new Rasmussen poll yesterday. That poll shows Obama with a 51% to 49% lead over Republican nominee Mitt Romney. In September, Obama led Romney by three points; in 2008, Obama won the stage by a whopping 56% to 42% margin.

According to Rasmussen, Wisconsin is now a toss-up state. Very few Wisconsonites are unsure of their vote; a full 91% know just for whom they’ll vote. Non-party registered voters currently break for Obama 55% to 43%. But the margin of error in the survey is 4.5%. Essentially, the race in Wisconsin is dead even. That’s not good news for a president who won the state by mid-double digits last time around.
