Michelle Obama: 'I've Had 10-Year-Olds' Making Calls for Campaign

First Lady Michelle Obama bragged on Monday that 10-year-old children were making phone calls for the Obama campaign.

Michelle Obama said in Iowa that many young voters have told her their “parents and grandparents were not going to vote for Barack in 2008 until I talked to them and I told them what this election means for my future.”

After talking about the “power that young people can have,” she then said:

“It doesn’t matter how old you are. I’ve had 10-year-olds who are on a phone bank — 14-year-olds. I mean, I’m telling you, there is power because this is your future and you can tell people that they don’t have to wait until November the 6th to cast their ballots.”
