BOO!: Company Mandates Diversity Training over Employee's Obama Mask

It has become an American tradition to dress up as Presidents of the Unites States for your local Halloween festivities. The likes of Nixon, Clinton, Reagan, and Bush come to mind.

Jennie Stuart Medical Center is trying to bring this tradition to a screeching halt, at least when it comes to one particular president. An employee impersonating President Obama, donning a mask and a straight jacket at the Kentucky medical center, earned third place in their Halloween costume contest and a free pass to company diversity training sessions. In fact, as a result of this costume choice, all 750 employees will now attend mandatory diversity training class.

Laying down the law to avoid the recurrence of such behavior at next year’s Halloween party, the medical center now prohibits employees from wearing ethnic or political costumes. In light of Jennie Stuart Medical Center’s privacy policy, it was not revealed whether the employee was further disciplined.
