Two Abducted PA Children Found Safe as Amber Alert Canceled

Three-year-old Erielys Ahorrio and her brother, four-year-old John Ahorrio, were found safe in Philadelphia Friday morning after their father, 23-year-old Eddie Ahorrio Jr., and their grandfather, 47-year-old Eddie Ahorrio Sr., abducted them at gunpoint Thursday in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

An Amber Alert was issued after the children had been taken away in a black Nissan Altima. On Friday, at roughly 7:30 a.m., a Pennsylvania State trooper saw the vehicle traveling east on the Schuylkill Expressway near Route 1 and stopped it, taking the father and grandfather into custody. The two men are suspected of trying to travel to Massachusetts. The children were safe in the back seat of the car.

Once the car was pulled over, the Amber Alert was cancelled.
