Democrat Party Claims Reagan Served in Congress on Official Twitter Account

On February 28th, the Democrat Party used their official Twitter account to tell followers the minimum wage is worth less than “when Ronald Reagan was in Congress.”

The problem–Reagan was never in Congress. He was an actor who became Governor of California (1967-1975) and President of the United States (1981-1989).

Nevertheless, the Democrats tweeted the following: 

“It’s time to raise a minimum wage that’s worth less than it was when Ronald Reagan was in Congress” #RaiseTheWage #DNC14
