Mosqueing the Top of the Empire State Building

A Muslim family from Long Island slapped the owners of the Empire State Building Tuesday with a $5 million lawsuit that claims that Islamic prayer is not being accommodated on the observation deck of the Emprie State Building.

This is the template for imposing Islam on the public square (or a top ten target of jihadists). This public prayer on the observation deck of the Emprie State Building was a provocation. It had nothing to do with piety or religiosity. It is political and supremacist. Were they facing Mecca or Ground Zero?

You don’t see this in Muslim countries. They can make up a prayer at any time. They go to the mosque or stay at home to pray. There are no prayer breaks in Iran and Dubai at workplaces. No prayers on the streets. It is a direct act of defiance against the host culture. It is a prelude to conquest according to Islamic texts. They always prayed in front of their enemy’s gates before they invaded.

Liberals do not get it. They think this is a matter of the free exercise of religion. It isn’t. It is a call to conflict and a gesture of supremacism. If the Empire State Building loses this suit (and it may if Eric Holder’s Justice Department gets involved, and it often does in these matters), they will pray there in dozens or even hundreds in the future, scaring away other visitors.

I describe this well-worn but successful tactic by these supremacist colonizers in my book, Stop Islamization of America, A Practical Guide to the Resistance. This is by no means the first attempt to Islamicize the public square in New York. Just last week, Muslim children demanded halal food in the New York City public schools.

The children making the demand claimed that the vegetarian option was not sufficient because “we don’t get the protein that we need.” Yet these kids looked hardly undernourished, and, frankly, if protein is your thing, then why not bring hard-boiled eggs to school or beef jerky?

Because it was not about the food, it’s about Islamic supremacism.

The New York City school system have a small percentage of Muslim students. If food choice is so important to them, why not bring their own food? One young Muslim featured in a news story about the demand claimed that not having halal food and having to eat peanut butter and jelly makes her “feel different.” But the fact is, she is choosing to be different, and her community is forcing the general population to conform to their ideology.

Meanwhile, the New York Police Department lets Muslims break laws that ordinary citizens would ordinarily face extensive punitive damages for breaking, simply because they are Muslims. One New Yorker uploaded a video that showed how it is done. He explained: “I came out to find my legally parked van blocked in by illegally parked cabs. I asked a wandering traffic cop to give the cab a ticket since he was making me late for my next appointment. I was told, we are not allowed to ticket the taxis because they were worshiping in the mosque around the corner.”

This is Sharia. If these individuals had been double parked because they were going to church, they would have gotten a ticket right away. This is the NYPD enforcing Sharia law. This is not an isolated trend, either.

It’s happening elsewhere as well. In February, a New Jersey Muslim, Naima Mnasri, in conjunction with the Hamas-tied Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), filed a complaint with the EEOC because her boss told her to remove her hijab for safety concerns. Safety concerns be damned. It’s all about Islamic demands countermanding secular mores.

Yet safety is an issue, and the headscarf is a hazard in certain situations. Early this year, a Muslim woman in her 30s died after her headscarf became caught in a subway station escalator. But CAIR is not concerned with safety; it has one objective: the imposition of Islamic supremacism.

That same month, a Muslim woman sued Children’s Hospital Boston after being fired for refusing to get a flu shot. If you don’t want to take the necessary steps to work in a hospital and adhere to the rules to insure the health of the public at large, then don’t work in a children’s hospital. But again, this is all about imposing Islam.

Last November, CAIR filed suit against DHL to impose Muslim prayer times on the workplace in Kentucky. And in October, a Muslim was awarded $66,000 in back pay after refusing to shave his beard in accordance with company rules. Last June, Obama’s EEOC sued Star Transport for rightfully terminating two Muslims who refused to do their job and transport alcohol. If these Muslim truck drivers didn’t want to deliver alcohol, then they shouldn’t have taken a job in which that would be part of their duties. It’s that simple. And in Minnesota, the YMCA and the St. Paul Police Department have organized a Muslim swim, during which men and all infidels (except female lifeguards) are barred–with taxpayer dollars being used for the police department to provide transportation for members of the swim group.

When will the special accommodation for Muslims end? When will we say, “No more Sharia, we are going to defend the idea of equal rights for all people?”
