After Being Shot Four Times, Grandma Manages to Pull Own Gun and Shoot Attackers

On May 6 Detroit grandmother Paris Ainsworth came home after working a double and was approached by two men who shot her four times, before she was able to pull her own gun shoot back at the attackers.

According to ClickOnDetroit.com, it was late Saturday night when Ainsworth saw the two men approaching “as she was about to get out of her car.” So she put her .45 handgun into her pocket.

At that point one of the would-be attackers said, “Don’t pull it,” and then he fired four shots at Ainsworth. “She was hit three times in the side and once in the head.”

The wounds angered Ainsworth who yelled, “You motherf**ckers” and then opened fire, striking one of the attackers in both of his legs.

The attackers escaped but were later apprehended while seeking treatment for their wounds at “Sinai-Grace hospital in West Detroit.”

Ainsworth told reporters, “If I wouldn’t have had my gun I would be dead today.”
