South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsay Graham slammed President Obama as news broke Tuesday about the Obama administration’s plans to pull troops out of Afghanistan.

He continued, charging that the President is repeating the mistakes in Afghanistan that were made in Iraq.
“Doing the same thing he did in Iraq and expecting different results is the definition of insanity. #Afghanistan,” he added.

The South Carolina Republican concluded his Twitter rant by asserting that the announcement will strengthen the enemy.

President Obama is expected to announce on Tuesday afternoon the draw down of troops in Afghanistan from 32,000 to 9,800 by the beginning of next year and then withdraw most of those forces by 2016, according to the Associated Press.
Obama was in Afghanistan for a surprise visit over the weekend.
