Feds on Ebola: Be Not Afraid

Federal government officials defended their response to the Ebola threat and reminded U.S. citizens not to be afraid. This comes after Thomas Eric Duncan was diagnosed with the disease in Dallas.

People were afraid, he said, because of the fear of the unknown and the reported “cataclysmic nature” of the disease.

But Fauci insisted that there was no reason for Americans to be alarmed about contracting the disease.

He reminded reporters that to contract Ebola, there had to be “direct contact with the bodily fluids” of a sick person.
