Students Injured in Washington State School Shooting, Gunman Dead

UPDATE 2:00 pm PST — CNN reporting two dead–one victim and the shooter–and 4 injured.

UPDATE 12:30 pm PST — Local media reports now indicate the number of wounded students is six, and the gunman is dead. 

Reports indicate at least two students were injured on October 24 when a fellow student allegedly fired shots inside the cafeteria at Marysville Pilchuck High School in Marysville, Washington.

RT.com reports the shots were fired around 10:45 a.m.

KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reports that police have locked the building down where “three students and a teacher” say they heard gun shots. KOMO news says there were two injuries in the attack and reports both students have been airlifted to a hospital for treatment. 

The school is currently being evacuated.
