CNN Chief National Correspondent John King said that President Obama’s recent policy proposals were essentially “go away Republicans” on Thursday’s “New Day” on CNN.
After playing a clip of the president urging bipartisanship, King stated “that’s sort of the kinder, gentler, ‘let’s be bipartisan president’ striking that tone with the American people. While at the same time, at the moment, at the moment, and this is what I’m trying to get at, he’s trying to get leverage. At the moment, his proposals are, ‘go away, Republicans, I’m right, you’re wrong, even though you just won the election.'”
