Lana ShadwickA political action committee (PAC) has been formed supporting Kentucky Senator Rand Paul (R) in advance of his anticipated 2016 presidential campaign announcement. The United for Rand PAC (UFR) is being announced in Washington, D.C. Senator Paul is expected to announce his bid for the presidency on Tuesday, April 7, at the historic Galt hotel in Louisville, Kentucky and then take off on a multi-state campaign tour with stops in New Hampshire on April 8; Charleston, S.C., on April 9, Iowa City, Iowa, on April 10; and Las Vegas, Nevada on April 11.

“Rand Paul has done more to bring awareness to issues facing minorities than any other presidential candidate, of either party and is the only choice for conservatives of all stripes in 2016,” wrote United for Rand PAC Executive Director Anita MonCrief in a press release obtained by Breitbart Texas. “Whether the discussion is student debt, jobs and the economy, entitlements or civil rights, Rand Paul’s message is more inclusive of all American’s than we have seen in past elections.”

“Sen. Paul believes in engaging all Americans, including communities that others have only pandered too, used or ignored. Paul brings common sense solutions aimed at a more inclusive political process. UFR is dedicated to broadening the audience across the country to Paul’s message through voter Education, voter registration and grassroots training to promote year-round civic engagement,” MonCrief explained.

MonCrief is expected to travel to cities from New York to Los Angeles to deliver her supporting message about Rand Paul as a presidential candidate. “What America needs now is a president who can speak for, and to, Americans;” she concluded, “not black or white, rich or poor, college educated or not, and do what needs to be done for our country, in a fiscally responsible manner while remaining steadfast to the Constitution of the United States.”
