‘SNL’ Mocks ‘Fox & Friends,’ Wasserman Schultz, Ben Carson in Cold Open

This weekend’s “Saturday Night Live” on NBC opened with a mocking of “Fox & Friends” with Taran Killam playing Steve Doocy, Vanessa Bayer playing Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Bobby Moynihan playing the role of Brian Kilmeade.

The faux “Fox & Friends” brought up the Syrian refugees crossing over the United States border, then showed a clip from a Black Friday mob at a Walmart with Hasselbeck asking why Black Fridays get special treatment, and that “all Fridays matter.”

Kate McKinnon came on as DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, calling GOP presidential candidate Marco Rubio Elian Gonzalez.

Comedian Jay Pharoah, acting as GOP presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson, “I’m like a koala bear — on the outside I may seem nice, but on the inside, I’ve never held elected office.”
