Registered Republicans returned more ballots in the state of Colorado than registered Democrats, according to the Republican National Committee’s (RNC) absentee ballot and early voting update on Sunday.

The RNC also tells reporters that Republicans are over-performing in key Colorado counties.

There are nine electoral votes up for grabs to the candidate who wins the state.

Hillary Clinton currently holds a slim 2.9 percent lead over Trump, according to the Real Clear Politics Colorado polling average.
