WATCH: Off-Duty FBI Agent Allegedly Drops Gun on Dance Floor, Accidentally Shoots Onlooker

An 0ff-duty FBI agent allegedly dropped his pistol on a dance floor while doing a flip Saturday and accidentally shot an onlooker in the leg.

The Denver Post reports that “the agent was taken to Denver police headquarters and was released to an FBI supervisor.”

Denver Police said the onlooker who was shot “was transported to the hospital with a good prognosis.” Police said that the agent’s gun allegedly fired when reached down to pick it up off the floor.

The name of the off-duty agent was not released because no charges have been filed against him. The Denver district attorney is currently weighing whether charges should be brought against the agent.
