Donald Trump Rips Apart Green New Deal: ‘A High School Term Paper’

President Donald Trump ridiculed Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s “Green New Deal” proposal during a rally on Monday in El Paso, Texas.

“It sounds like a high school term paper that got a low mark,” Trump said, noting that it would shut down the oil industry and air travel.

“I really don’t like their policy of taking away your car or taking away your airplane flights. Or ‘Let’s hop a train to California,'” he said. “You are not allowed to own cows anymore? There are a lot of problems.”

He further mocked the proposal from Democrats to tear down existing building to make them more environmentally friendly and getting rid of private health care.

“They’re coming for your money, and they’re coming for your freedom,” he said. “It’ll never happen. They won’t even come close folks.”

Trump boasted historic economic numbers in the past two years and the restoration of jobs and industry in the United States.

“Who wants to change what we’re doing now?” he asked. “We are a hot, hot country.”
