Trump campaign surrogate Pastor Mark Burns told Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM host Alex Marlow on Wednesday, “Hillary Clinton is not the candidate for people of faith.”

“I cannot stress this enough for every person of faith,” continued Burns. “It is a 911 call for all religious people or people of faith. And that’s all faiths.” Burns cited both Democrat-backed legislation and recent WikiLeak emails – as Breitbart News reported – to back up his claim:

In a new WikiLeaks disclosure, key figures in the Clinton campaign reveal a visceral anti-Catholicism, attacking Rupert Murdoch for raising his children Catholic and calling conservative Catholicism “an amazing bastardization of the faith.”

Tuesday’s release of more than 1,000 hacked emails of John Podesta, chairman of Hillary Clinton’s campaign, includes a 2011 thread called “Conservative Catholicism” between Podesta, Hillary for America Communications Director Jennifer Palmieri, and John Halpin, senior fellow at the Center for American Progress where Podesta served as Chairman of the Board at the time.

Burns continued to make the case against Hillary Clinton from a faith-based perspective throughout the interview.

Breitbart News Daily airs on SiriusXM Patriot 125 weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Eastern.
