Poll: Super Bowl Divides Democrats, Republicans

Democrats and Republicans cannot even agree on which team they want to win the Super Bowl. 

A nationwide Clarus poll found Republicans favor the 49ers by a 43% to 26% margin while Democrats favor the Ravens 39% to 33%. 

The poll found self-described Independents “were nearly evenly split,” though, voting 29 percent for the 49ers and 28 percent for the Ravens.

The poll also found that “35 percent of U.S. adults want the 49ers to win and 31 percent prefer the Ravens.”

Clarus Research Group conducted the poll between Jan. 24-27.
