LeBron Breaks 'Crazy' Record in Heat Victory

Miami Heat superstar LeBron James made history on Tuesday night, becoming the first player in NBA history to score 30 points and shoot at least 60 percent from the field in six consecutive games.

James scored 30 points and made 11 of 15 shots, as the Heat beat the Portland Trailblazers 117-104 in Miami.

“I’m at a loss for words,” James said in a postgame interview. “Like I say over and over, I know the history of the game. I know how many unbelievable players who came through the ranks, who paved the way for me and my teammates. And for me to be in the record books by myself with such a stat – any stat – it’s big-time.”

NBA players have marveled at James’ run.

On Tuesday, New York Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony said he’s “never seen nothing like it” and called James’s run “crazy” and “incredible.”
