A very deserving 1-seed for the west – as they have the fifth best team and trio according to Value Add, and they finished hot, moving from 6th to 4th at www.kenpom.com. Even at fifth, there is a bit of a gap between the Zags and Indiana or Louisville, and the jury is out on if Kelly Olynyk can handle the pounding he may see from Pitt or Wisconsin, but he is legitimately a third team All-American based on his No. 15 rating in Value Add. They are held back a little by not have the experienced guard play that sometimes gets teams through a tough tournament, but while Kevin Pangos is only a sophomore, he is a future NBA point guard.
