Status: 7-seed in Midwest
National Player of they Year candidate did not really turn it on this year until the last few weeks, but once he did Creighton improved from 24th to 15th on www.kenpom.com to enter the tournament as one of the hottest teams in the country. Their trio is the 10th best in the country, and they are very experienced with Grant Gibbs and Gregory Echenique tearing it up as seniors.
