Tebow Addresses Wichita State Team at Airport

Tim Tebow spoke to the Wichita State Shockers, a team that knocked off No. 1 Gonzaga en route to the Sweet 16, on Sunday when an airplane carrying the New York Jets quarterback was refueling at a Wichita airport at the same time the Shockers were arriving from Salt Lake City, Utah.

According to reports, Tebow’s representatives asked Wichita State coach Gregg Marshall if Tebow could speak to the team while waiting for his plane to refuel.

Wichita State then headed to the Koch Arena for a celebration. Wichita State will play No. 13 La Salle in the Sweet 16 in Los Angeles on Thursday in the West Regional.
