Dodgers Pitcher Rips McCain for Criticizing Pool Celebration: Sen. 'McComplain' Knows About Finishing Second

Dodgers pitcher Brian Wilson slammed Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) on Friday as a politician who “knows a thing or two about coming in second” after McCain ripped the Dodgers for what he called their “No-class act” for celebrating in the swimming pool in the outfield at Chase Field on Thursday after the Dodgers clinched the National League West.

The Dodgers came out of the clubhouse long after the fans in the stadium had left and jumped into the pool and celebrated winning the division. Some of the Diamondbacks took offense while others said if the Diamondbacks did not want the Dodgers celebrating in their pool they should have beaten them on the field.

McCain, the temperamental senator and Diamondbacks fan who has called colleagues “wacko birds,” tweeted, “No-class act by a bunch of overpaid, immature, arrogant, spoiled brats!”

In response, Wilson reminded McCain of his second-place finish in the 2008 presidential election to Barack Obama, a one-term senator from Illinois.
