After the Bulldogs upset the Bears, a reporter upset star Baylor player Taurean Prince.

A reported asked, “How does Yale out-rebound Baylor?” Prince answered in the most literal manner possible.

Sean Flynn of Breitbart Sports witnessed the Cinderella story on the court and the unhappy ending for the reporter after the game. As Flynn noted in coverage of yesterday’s game, “Yale controls the boards better than all NCAA teams but Michigan State,” so the question may insult the Bulldogs more than the Bears. Flynn reported, “Yale secured a disproportionate 16-9 glass advantage in the first half and finished with a 36-32 overall edge over the second-best rebounding team in the Big 12.”

Yale won their first NCAA tournament game in school history and did so without captain Jack Montague, the senior expelled from the New Haven campus but in attendance in Providence to root his former teammates on.

And if the Yalies forgets what got them to this point during their second-round game, they need only remind themselves: “You go up and grab the ball off the rim when it comes off. And then you grab it with two hands. You come down with it, and that’s considered a rebound.”
