Tim Tebow violated the eighth commandment. He paid an awful price for it.
The Scottsdale Scorpions outfielder injured his right knee on an attempt to steal second in the fourth inning of a game in the Arizona Fall League. Tebow reached base on a fielder’s choice but failed to reach second before the tag on the steal.
Tebow rose grimacing from an awkward slide. He walked off the field. The Mets told ESPN Tebow appears day-to-day.
Mets followed up to say that Tim Tebow’s injury “does not appear to be serious,” but he still is being evaluated. Tebow saw a local doctor.

After an awful 0-for-12 start to the season, Tebow now boasts a three-game hitting streak. He owns a .147 batting average in the league for top prospects.
