Alleged Serial Killer Left Amazon Product Reviews of Items He Used for Crimes

An alleged serial killer appears to have reviewed the tools he reportedly used in his crimes on Amazon.

Todd Kohlhepp is a South Carolina realtor. He also seems to be a responsible consumer, leaving helpful recommendations for fellow hobbyists on Amazon. Unfortunately, his hobbies allegedly are kidnapping and murder.

After 30-year old Kala Brown was found alive by authorities on Kohlepp’s property, he asked only to see his mother before taking them to the site where he’d buried two others. He has reportedly confessed to four murders, including the owner of a nearby motorcycle shop. He has been linked to seven potential victims so far.

That is not, however, the end of this disturbing story. Apparently, Todd Kohlepp has been leaving reviews of the products he employed in his morbid pastime on the Amazon online marketplace.

About a certain set of padlocks, he wrote, “solid locks.. have 5 on a shipping container.. wont stop them.. but sure will slow them down til they are too old to care. (sic)”

A knife was recommended, because “havnet (sic) stabbed anyone yet…… yet…. but I am keeping the dream alive and when I do, it will be with a quality tool like this…”

Then there’s a folding shovel, about which he instructs that you should “keep in car for when you have to hide the bodies and you left the full size shovel at home…. does not come with a midget, which would have been nice.”

The user who left the reviews is listed simply as “me,” but links to an Amazon wishlist under Kohlepp’s name. His Facebook page has already been removed but reportedly featured very similar content to his Amazon account. Kohlepp has been denied bail and declined to speak to the families of his suspected victims during his initial appearance in court.

If, however, you feel the need to lock your doors after digesting this story, Kohlepp has more than enough padlock recommendations to spare. Or, as he’d put it:

now my locks have locks… place is hotel california now..
