Texas Public School Teacher Gives Student Lap Dance

HOUSTON, TEXAS–42-year-old Felicia Smith, a teacher at Stovall Middle School near Houston, reportedly admitted to giving her student a lap dance in front of the class, according to local reports and court documents obtained by Breitbart Texas.

Documents claim that on February 26, Smith “intentionally and knowingly engaged in sexual contact” with a student. More specifically, she touched “the complainant’s genitals with the buttocks of the defendant.”

The student, 15-year-old Douglas Banos, told investigators that the sexual assault happened on his birthday. The student further alleged that when he entered the classroom, music started to play and Mrs. Smith placed a chair next to her desk.

“The whole class was yelling and telling him to sit down in the chair that was placed by Mrs. Smith,” the criminal complaint stated. “He sat down on the chair and Mrs. Smith started to perform a full contact lap dance on Banos…Banos also said Mrs. Smith fondled him with her hands by touching him all over his body. Towards the end of the dance, Smith got on her two knees and placed her head between his legs.”

According to the complaint, the student then “slapped Mrs. Smiths’ buttocks” several times.

The document further alleges that Smith then stood up and danced with her arms around the teen. She apparently said to him, “I love you baby, happy birthday.”

The incident, which was reportedly caught on video, lasted for about four minutes.

The school district said in a statement to local media outlet KHOU, “A criminal charge of engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a student has been filed against a Stovall Middle School teacher. The charge was filed by Aldine Independent School District Police, who investigated the case along with the campus administration. The teacher was removed from the campus during the investigation and has not returned. The district takes this allegation seriously and is fully cooperating with prosecutors. The safety and security of our students will continue to be a top priority in Aldine ISD.”

Smith’s bond was reportedly set at $30,000.
