MCALLEN, Texas — A Texas border woman pleaded guilty to offering up her 12-year-old niece and a newborn baby for sex to her long distance boyfriend, so that they could “train” for sex.
On Friday afternoon, 42-year-old Lydia Vasquez went before a U.S. federal judge and pleaded guilty to the charge of enticing an individual to travel for illicit sexual activity, court records obtained by Breitbart Texas show.
After accepting the guilty plea, U.S. District Judge Micaela Alvarez ordered that Vasquez remain in federal custody pending her sentencing hearing set for next year during which time she could face up to 20 years in prison.
As previously reported by Breitbart Texas, federal agents arrested Vasquez in August when she went to the McAllen airport to pick up her long distance boyfriend so the two could engage in sexual play with the 12-year-old girl.
Vasquez who is from the rural border town of Edcouch had been having a three year long distance relationship with a man from Detroit who turned into an FBI informant when Vasquez began talking about child abuse.
In August, Vasquez had asked the boyfriend to train the 12-year-old niece in sex and that in January another relative was going to give her a baby and she wanted the boyfriend to also help her train the infant in sexual play. The woman had even suggested pouring honey on the boyfriend’s crotch so the baby could lick it, court records obtained by Breitbart Texas show.
