One of the top police officers in San Antonio, Texas, is believed to have taken his own life after his official email account was linked to the information leak from the infidelity website Ashley Madison. Two individuals from Toronto, Canada, have also been reported to have committed suicide after their information was leaked.

The recent rash of email addresses linked to the Ashley Madison hack struck San Antonio where three city email addresses were identified through the hack, the San Antonio Current reported.

One of those addresses listed is the address of a captain, the other of a detective and a third to a former employee.

Captain Michael Gorhum, a 25-year veteran with San Antonio Police and the head of the San Antonio Regional Intelligence Center Unit died last week from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, KSAT reported.

According to various news outlets, two other individuals in Toronto Canada appear to have committed suicide after their information became public in Ashley Madison.

As Breitbart News has reported, the publishing of information hacked from Ashley Madison has led to the outing of various celiebrities including Muslim cleric Hamza Tzortzis, reality TV star Josh Duggar as well as multiple federal government employees from the White House and military personnel.

In response to all the scandals the company has offered a $500,000 reward to information leading to the identity of the hackers, NBC reported
