BATON ROUGE, Louisiana – Louisiana native and pop music icon Britney Spears is donating to flood victims who have been ravaged by storms by auctioning off a chance to meet her in exchange for relief money.

Spears, who grew up in Kentwood, Louisiana, posted to her Facebook page an auction where fans can donate $10 to the state’s flood victims and then possibly win a chance to attend the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), meet her or win her outfit from the performance at the show.

The first prize winner will win a trip to New York to attend the VMA’s and get to see Spears perform as well as a meet-and-greet.

Second prize winners will receive the outfit worn by Spears at the VMA’s and get a singed copy of her upcoming album ‘Glory.’

Spears is not the only celebrity to make a high-profile donation to Louisiana flood victims.

Country-turned-pop star Taylor Swift donated $1 million to flood victims, as Breitbart Texas reported.

“We began The 1989 World Tour in Louisiana, and the wonderful fans there made us feel completely at home,” Swift said in a statement. “The fact that so many people in Louisiana have been forced out of their own homes this week is heartbreaking. I encourage those who can to help out and send your love and prayers their way during this devastating time.”

More than 60,000 homes have been destroyed due to the historic flooding in the state, which is being called the Great Flood of 2016.
